Plans for Largest Undeveloped Plot in Manhattan

Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) has revealed new renderings for a massive mixed-use development at Freedom Plaza, located on the border of Murray Hill and Tudor City in Midtown.

The proposed project, developed by The Soloviev Group in partnership with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, includes two residential skyscrapers, two hotel towers, a waterfront park, a below-grade casino, and a museum. The development, sitting on 6.5 acres, aims to revitalize the largest undeveloped plot in Manhattan.

The renderings feature glass curtain walls and landscaped roof decks. The project also includes a public waterfront park with various amenities and a Museum of Freedom and Democracy. If approved, construction could begin as early as 2025, transforming the long-vacant site into a vibrant hub in the heart of Manhattan.
