Plano’s Haggard Farm Mixed-Use Project Underway
The Haggard Farm is getting gobbled up bit by bit. The Haggard family had owned the farm in Plano since the mid 1800s. The family received zoning on an ambitious building venture in 2021.
The Dallas Business Journal reports that Haggard Farm Tillage Offices will be the first of many projects slated for the historic parcel. It will be a three-story office building connected with a two-story central lobby. The project, with a construction cost of $20 million, is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. Stillwater will be the developer. Corgan was named as the design firm behind the 189,000-square-foot space.
Zoning will allow for over 700,000 square feet of office space, a 98-room hotel, 700 residential units, a senior housing community, a retail village and townhomes.
The development will also feature an entertainment center with outdoor pavilions and an event lawn, and over two dozen acres of the farmland will be designated for a park and open space.
