Plano Greenlights Silver Line Mixed-Use Project

The city of Plano has approved a developer’s plan for a mixed-use development along the Silver Line rail project. The site plan calls for apartments and a restaurant called Railside Lofts and Courts along 13th Street between Municipal Avenue and N Avenue. The developer is listed as Metropolitan Interests Corporation on the town’s agenda.

The residential parts of the development will allow up to 390 apartments. Residences will be housed in five-story buildings on the western portion of the property.

Community Impact reports the developers also plan to develop a restaurant concept from Austin-based Bouldin Acres, which will include an outdoor game area.

Based on development regulations adopted last year, construction on the apartments is not allowed until either the issuance of a building permit for the restaurant or Jan. 1, 2025.
