Placer.ai White Paper Fills in LA’s Office Scorecard

Return-to-office (RTO) trends have been closely watched over the past few years, with relevant stakeholders trying to puzzle out the impact remote and hybrid work have had on business operations and worker performance, Placer.ai reported. Although visits to office buildings remain below pre-pandemic levels, office recovery varies from city to city, reflecting the complex and nuanced nature of regional economic trends, workforce preferences, and industry-specific needs.

A new white paper from Placer.ai looks at the state of office in the nation’s second largest city, Los Angeles. Titled Los Angeles Office Trends in 2024, it explores trends shaping the return to office in LA’s major business districts.

In the report, readers can learn:

  • How LA’s office recovery compares to the nationwide average.
  • Which demographic groups are driving RTO at LA’s top-performing office buildings.
  • Which neighborhoods and business districts are recovering most quickly, and which continue lagging behind.
  • How local commuting habits compare to those seen before the pandemic.
