Pizzuti’s Columbus BTS Accommodates IT Tenant’s Growth
The Pizzuti Companies and CBRE finalized a 253,000-square-foot build-to-suit deal for StarTech.com in Groveport, OH. It represents the third Columbus-area expansion for the Ontario, Canada-based manufacturer of IT connectivity parts.
“StarTech.com was outgrowing their current space, and we were able to provide them with a creative, alternative solution that allows them to double their space as well as accommodate their current employees by staying within close proximity to their current facility,” said Jim Miller, EVP of development for Pizzuti.
“In collaboration with our partners, Olympus Ventures and CBRE, we were able to acquire a 40-acre site and develop this important project for StarTech.com,” Miller added.
CBRE’s Weston Devore stated, “In Columbus, we are seeing a vacancy rate at sub 4% and with the increased demand from e-commerce, companies like StarTech.com are implementing their forward-thinking strategy by investing in their expansion sooner.”
