Domino’s Orders Up Infrastructure
When you think of Domino’s, you probably think of pizza. But now, the company is also filling potholes across America in its latest infrastructure project. With their “Paving for Pizza” initiative, the pizza chain will help pave the road for deliveries, literally.
So far, Domino’s has assisted four municipalities, including Burbank, CA, Athens, GA, and Milford, Delaware and Bartonville, TX. According to the initiative, Domino’s customers can nominate their town on the dedicated website, and if selected, the city will receive funds to help repair the roads.
Domino’s USA President Russell Weiner says, “We don’t want to lose any great-tasting pizza to a pothole.” This brings a whole new dimension to ordering a pizza – gone are the days of adding stuffed crusts, now, you can stuff your roads.
