Pizza Masters Stars to Open Williamsburg Restaurant

Artichoke Basille’s Pizza will soon be serving their signature artichoke pizza slices at its 11th location, this one in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood.

“Opening a location in Williamsburg was a no brainer for Artichoke…the area has grown tremendously,” said Ben Waller of ABS Partners Real Estate, who represented both the landlord, 148 North 7th St Real Estate Corp., and the tenant in the transaction. “Fully built restaurants with small footprints are moving quickly in this market.”

Cousins and owners Francis Garcia and Sal Basille, who are also the stars of Pizza Masters on the Cooking Channel, are planning to open an 800-square-foot restaurant this month at 148 North Seventh St., steps away from Bedford Ave. Asking rent in the deal was $187-per-square-foot.
