Pilot Freight Services Signs for Just-Delivered Spec Space

Pilot Freight Services struck a deal with developer and landlord Hanson Asset Management LP to take down 87,726 square feet of just-delivered speculative space at 445 Pan American Dr. in El Paso. The transaction brought the building to 100% occupancy, and prompted Hanson Asset Management, headquartered in London, to commence construction on a second spec building consisting of 125,000 square feet.

Arturo de La Mora and Christian Perez Giese represented the landlord, Hanson Asset Management. Chad McCleskey, also with CBRE, represented Pilot Freight Services, a transportation and logistics firm.

“Finding industrial product larger than 50,000-square-feet in the East part of El Paso has never been so challenging for users,” de la Mora said. “The fact that Hanson’s first spec building was fully leased immediately after delivery proves the strength of El Paso’s industrial market.”
