PickleRage to Open Second Maryland-Area Facility

PickleRage has signed a lease with K&S Londontown DE, LLC for 31,000 square feet of space at the Londontown Business Center in Eldersburg, Maryland.

This represents the national indoor pickleball facility’s first franchise-owned location in Maryland, and joins an existing corporate-owned site now operating near BWI Airport. The lease elevates occupancy in the industrial portion of the property at 1332 Londontown Boulevard, a two-story building containing more than 365,000 square feet of space, to 100 percent. Dennis Boyle, Senior Vice President of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services represented the landlord in this leasing transaction.

PickleRage plans to open 500 new locations nationally over the next five years. “1332 Londontown Boulevard satisfied every important criteria for a pickleball facility, including high ceilings, immediately available and wide column spacing, generous parking and a strategic location accessible by a large consumer market in Carroll County,” said Boyle. The business center is situated approximately 30 miles from downtown Baltimore and BWI Airport, as well as 50 miles from Washington, D.C.
