Pickleball court set up on 48th floor Tower Club

Pickleball Reaches for the Sky in Dallas

Tower Club Dallas has opened Pickleball in the Sky, a pickleball court on the club’s 48th floor overlooking central Dallas. The Club it testing it out for a month.

Pickleball fever has grown dramatically in North Texas, and several new residential developments have included pickleball courts as an amenity. Pickleball interest has spiked across the U.S., with national pickleball association USA Pickleball seeing a 30% bump in membership last year alone.

The Dallas Business Journal reports the Tower Club Dallas owner Invited, currently has more than 800 tennis courts and 400 pickleball courts across its portfolio of 200 clubs.

Invited CEO David Pillsbury adds, “The ‘Pickleball Court in the Sky’ is just another example of engaging with the pickleball fans in Dallas and continuing the growth of the sport across our nationwide portfolio of clubs.” Irving will be hosting the national championships later this summer.
