Pickleball/Golf Venue to Open in Raleigh

Sports venue openings are a near-daily occurrence. Most usually involve either pickleball or golf. In one Raleigh warehouse, you can enjoy both.

Pin Point, located at 2201 S. Wilmington St. just south of downtown Raleigh, is opening to the public later this month. The space features 16 pickleball courts, golf simulators and a chipping and putting area. The approximately 70,000-square-foot facility will include a food and beverage area, a TV lounge area and an area for private events.

Pin Point will set aside two pickleball courts for elite play with seating for viewers. It will also have Trackman golf simulator bays with a chipping area that spans about 15 yards with three different hole locations on the green.

The total investment in Pin Point is between $1.5 million and $2 million. Memberships are $139 a year.

Pin Point has plans for another four other locations.
