Pickleball, Golf Club Planned for Highland Park
A new 23,000-square-foot indoor pickleball and golf club is slated to open later this year in Chicago’s North Shore. Cushman & Wakefield represented locally-based DINX Social Club in leasing its first location at 1931 Skokie Valley Road in Highland Park, Illinois.
DINX Social Club is poised to become an upscale destination, complete with six regulation-sized pickleball courts and three immersive golf simulators. “In addition to the North Shore’s thriving golf community, Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S.,” said David Sloane, founder of DINX Social Club. “We are eager to help raise the profile of the fastest-growing sport in America across the North Shore and throughout Chicagoland.”
Cushman & Wakefield’s Chris Bobowski, who represented DINX in the lease transaction, added, “We evaluated prospective locations across Chicago’s Northside suburbs and ultimately found the ideal fit in Highland Park.”
The new location, housed in a former Staples, is part of the Park Avenue Centre, owned by Kensington Development Partners, and offers convenient access to U.S. Highway 41.
