Phoenix Retail Sale Demonstrates Daily Needs Demand

Moon Valley Towne Center, a 106,571-square-foot retail shopping center located at the southeast corner of 7th Street and Bell Rd. in Phoenix, recently sold for an undisclosed price. The buyer was an entity formed by BP National City LLC based in Moore, OK.

The seller was Miami-based Starwood Property Trust. Michael Hackett and Ryan Schubert with Cushman & Wakefield in Phoenix represented the seller in the transaction.

“Moon Valley Towne Center is a quality neighborhood-anchored center located at a dense retail intersection in North Phoenix,” said Hackett.

Anchored by Hobby Lobby, the retail center is home to more than 92 percent national tenants. Moon Valley Towne Center encompasses 11.37 acres and was 98.7 percent occupied at the time of the sale.
