Phoenix Okays Zoning for Expanded TSMC Campus
Phoenix City Council unanimously approved rezoning measures allowing industrial uses on a roughly 900-acre site directly south of TSMC. The land is owned by the State of Arizona and the Land Department will be holding an auction early next year. The starting bid in nearly $200 million.
The Phoenix Business Journal reports TSMC’s planned campus expansion is a part of a much larger mixed-used master planned community, called NorthPark Phoenix, that would span over 7,000 acres.
NorthPark is one of two major master-planned communities under development near TSMC’s campus. Halo Vista is another that is further along.
Halo Vista will encompass 2,300 acres and feature up to 30 million square feet of mixed-use space with retail, office, hospitality, research, industrial and health care users, along with up to 9,000 residential units at full buildout.
Mack Real Estate Group and McCourt Partners are developing the project with plans to break ground in the first quarter of 2026.
