Builder Taylor Morrison built the Mesa build-to-rent (BTR) community just this year, and has now sold it to Ellsworth Housing Partners for $53 million and intends to brand the 144-unit community as The Logan at Ellsworth. 

The private-gated smart home community provides the efficiency of renting, like a traditional multifamily asset, while providing a lower density, single-family home lifestyle. The Logan at Ellsworth community includes 58 one-bedroom units that are 650 sq. ft. and 87 two-bedroom units that are 995 sq. ft., all with private backyards. The smart home technology includes a doorbell camera and door and motion sensor with alarm, energy efficient with smart thermostat. The gated community features a resort-style heated swimming pool and spa, poolside ramadas with outdoor televisions, fitness studio, event lawn and roving patrol. 

A Northmarq team led by Trevor Koskovich represented the homebuilder. Northmarq claims over 200,000 BTR homes have been delivered since 2017.
