Phil Mickelson to Acquire Ocotillo Golf Club

Pro golfer Phil Mickelson is leading a group that will buy Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler, AZ. Mickelson is purchasing the asset with coach and agent Steve Loy, his brother and former Arizona State University Golf Coach Tim Mickelson and Spike Lawrence, a Phoenix-area developer. Once the deal for the course near Alma School and Ocotillo Roads closes, Mickelson and his partners will own eight golf courses in Arizona.

The sales price has not been released, nor has a specific closing date. The owner is listed as Ocotillo Golf Club LLC. The property is at 3751 S. Clubhouse Dr., and consists of 27 holes. The site is also home to Bernard’s Restaurant.
