PGA of America Headquarters Opens in Frisco
The new $33.5 million headquarters sits on 6.2 acres of the 660 acre PGA Frisco Campus. The PGA moved their headquarters from Florida. The four-story building has over 100,000 square feet that includes enclosed offices, boardroom, a video studio, golf hitting bays, simulators and putting greens.
Adolfson & Peterson (AP) Construction were the builders. AP’s Granger Hassman has some details, “PGA Frisco is expected to drive more than $2 billion in economic impact to the stakeholders and community over the next 20 years. Beyond growing golf in Northern Texas, this world class project provides an introduction for local businesses to a whole new customer base.”
The PGA Frisco campus is a public-private partnership that teams the PGA of America with Omni PGA Frisco Resort, the City of Frisco as well as various local economic development agencies. The campus includes a 510 room Omni resort, two 18-hole championship courses and a 30-acre practice area.
