Peter Giles Joins Ladera Capital Partners as Managing Director

Longtime Freddie Mac executive Peter Giles has joined Austin-based multifamily investment firm Ladera Capital Partners. In this new appointment, Giles will serve as a managing director responsible for overseeing capital markets strategies and a member of the growing firm’s investment committee.

Prior to joining Ladera, Giles served as a vice president for multifamily production and sales strategy at Freddie Mac. There, he was responsible for overseeing several specialty loan offerings in the entity’s multifamily division including the Green Advantage program and structured transactions.

During his 23-year career at Freddie Mac, Giles held a wide range of other senior leadership positions in the entity’s multifamily conventional, structured finance and seniors housing business lines where he and his teams were responsible for the placement of more than $210 billion of multifamily debt including $62 billion in Green Advantage loans that Giles oversaw.
