PerkSpot Signs for Second Expansion in 13 Months

Following a $50-million infusion last year and a significant recruiting push, PerkSpot has signed a 14,020-square-foot expansion at the Adlake Building, 320 W. Ohio St. in River North. The expansion brings the customized employee discount firm’s total square footage there to more than 27,000 square feet.

This is PerkSpot’s second expansion in the past 13 months. It moved from approximately 5,000 square feet at 216 West Ohio into 13,222 square feet 320 W. Ohio in June 2018.

Cresa Chicago’s Allen Rogoway represented the company in the recent transactions at 320 W Ohio. Rogoway has worked with PerkSpot since 2017, when the company hired him to develop a strategic real estate plan that could accommodate impending growth while maintaining corporate culture.

“The PerkSpot team was smart and engaged,” said Rogoway.  “They really thought through their growth stages, and how they would impact employees and their day-to-day work experience.”
