Performing Arts Center Issued $127M Permit
A $127 million permit has been issued to Lee Lewis Construction, Inc. for the planned Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences in the Cultural Arts District of Lubbock, TX.
The 265,000-square-foot project, commissioned by the Lubbock Entertainment and Performing Arts Association, is set to feature a 2,200-seat main theater, a 425-seat studio theater, a dance center, a café, a multi-purpose area and outdoor performance space. In addition to attendees of entertainment and social events, the facility will by utilized by Lubbock ISD students and Ballet Lubbock.
Project architects include Diamond Schmitt Architects, Parkhill, Smith and Cooper and MWM Architects.
