DFW Peppa Pig Construction Underway

Construction on the Peppa Pig Theme Park has been underway since June at 8851 26 Blvd. Grapevine Hwy. in North Richland Hills. The Dallas Business Journal reports Merlin Entertainments is developing the theme park. Merlin Entertainment is behind attractions such as Legoland and Madame Tussauds.

Spanning more than 31,000 square feet, the construction cost of the project is estimated at $17 million. Huitt-Zollars is listed as the design firm behind the work.

The new stand-alone Peppa Pig Theme Park, which is part of a licensing agreement with Hasbro, is set to target the preschool market and include multiple rides, interactive attractions, themed playscapes and shows.

The project, slated to open in 2024, is set to become North America’s second Peppa Pig Theme Park. Merlin opened the first Peppa Pig Theme Park destination in Florida.
