- Ryan Cos. has topped out Rivette Tower, a 345-unit apartment community in the Mueller District. The project consists of two buildings with 2,500 square feet of retail space on each ground floor. Units will have one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans, with 15 percent of the residences reserved for renters earning up to 60 percent of the AMI. Amenities will include a pool, rooftop deck, coworking space, and outdoor gathering areas. The first units are expected to be available spring 2024.
- Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) arranged $8,643,000 in financing for the acquisition of Renaissance Square, a retail center located at 2700 Renaissance Square in Fort Worth, Texas. Robert Bhat, senior managing director, capital markets, based out of MMCC’s Miami office secured the financing and Philip Levy based out of Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office represented the seller.
- JLL will continue to deliver Integrated Facilities Management, Lease Administration, Property Management and Energy and Sustainability Services for 35 small-format hospitals and emergency departments totaling 1 million square feet in Dallas, El Paso and San Antonio, Texas; and four other towns outside Texas.
- Will Hendrickson will become chief executive of Granite Properties Inc. on Jan. 1. Michael Dardick, Granite’s founding partner and CEO, will transition to executive chairman. Hendrickson, currently senior managing director and Dallas market leader, began his career at Granite as an investment analyst in 2003. He has overseen the development of three significant office projects in Uptown Dallas, Plano and Southlake.
- ML Realty Partners is pleased to announce that Sam Abusaad has been promoted to Leasing Director. Sam will continue overseeing leasing activities for the ML Realty Partners’ Dallas-Fort Worth portfolio. Since joining the firm in 2020, his ability to close complex deals has significantly increased portfolio occupancy for ML Realty Partners within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Abusaad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
