  • Newmark announces Clint Frease has joined the firm as Vice Chairman. In his role, Frease will be responsible for leading Newmark’s debt capital markets efforts across Texas and the Central Region and providing national debt advisory for the Data Center Capital Markets team. He will focus on debt placement, structured finance and loan sales and be based in Dallas.
  • Woodside Health acquired The Offices at Sweetwater in Sugar Land, Texas. The 4-building medical office campus has approximately 73,000 rentable square feet and is located at 4645-4675 Sweetwater Blvd. Woodside Health is a private equity firm that invests in the healthcare real estate sector. Since 2008, the firm has acquired over 3 million square feet of healthcare real estate and closed over $1.25 billion in transactions. 
  • Less than a year after breaking ground, Dallas-based KDC has completed construction of a 422,000-square-foot distribution center developed for Oncor Electric Delivery Co. in Midlothian, Texas. Oncor is Texas’ largest electricity transmission and distribution company, serving more than 13 million customers. Oncor officials said the new distribution center would help support the company’s unprecedented growth.
  • The NRP Group and the Capital Area Housing Finance Corporation (CAHFC) opened Centro35, a 330-unit affordable housing community in San Marcos, Texas. The development provides housing to residents earning up to 60 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI). It was financed with tax credit equity from Huntington Community Development Corporation and permanent financing provided by Bellwether Enterprises and Deutsche Bank.
  • JLL Capital Markets completed the sale of Remington Square, a three-building, Class A office complex totaling 392,357 square feet in Houston, Texas. JLL represented the seller, BGO, and procured the buyer, Houston-based Interra Capital Group. Remington Square is located directly along Beltway 8 at 10603, 10613 and 10713 W. Sam Houston Pkwy in northwest Houston. It was completed in 2008 and 2015.
