- Lee & Associates, the largest broker-owned commercial real estate firm in North America, announces the opening of a new office in Austin, Texas led by Adam Green as President. The office will specialize in industrial tenant representation, leasing, sales, and acquisitions, as well as land. Lee & Associates Austin plans to strategically recruit teams to grow their capabilities in office, retail, multifamily, and data centers.
- Cityview announced the hire of Quinn Konitshek, the firm’s new Director of Acquisitions. Based in the firm’s newly opened Dallas office, Konitshek will help Cityview expand its pursuit of strategic stabilized and ground-up acquisition opportunities across the Southwestern U.S., particularly in Texas, Arizona and Colorado.
- IPA Capital Markets, a division of Marcus & Millichap hired Jeremy Slocumb as a director, responsible for arranging equity for institutional clients. Based in Dallas, Slocumb will work closely with the greater Texas capital markets team as well as the firm’s Texas-based investment sales teams. Slocumb’s primary focus is equity placements for multifamily and industrial properties. His experience spans facilitating partnerships for ground-up development, property acquisition and recapitalizations throughout Texas and the Southeastern United States.
- Inland Private Capital Corporation and Devon Self Storage have completed construction on an 85,300-square-foot self-storage facility in Lubbock, Texas. Located at 2010 Avenue R (formerly an AT&T Processing Center), the property offers four stories with two elevators for easy access to 844 climate-controlled self-storage units.
- Trademark Property Company is welcoming three apparel and accessories brands at WestBend, a premier mixed-use community located in Fort Worth’s University District. The retailers, y&i clothing boutique, INDOCHINO, and Mod + Jo, thoughtfully complement WestBend’s existing offerings and bring the property’s retail component to 100% leased. WestBend features over 160,000 square feet of retail spanning clothing, accessories, beauty, home décor, and restaurants, including a curated mix of local and national brands.
