- Trammell Crow Company (TCC) announced the following three promotions in Texas; Matt Hill (TCC Capital Markets) has been promoted to Managing Director. He joined the firm’s portfolio management team in 2006 and was promoted to Principal in 2007. As Managing Director, Matt will continue to lead the firm’s U.S. debt business. Jake Marks (TCC Dallas-Fort Worth) has been promoted to Managing Director. Jake joined TCC 24 years ago and is responsible for the origination, financing, joint venture structuring, and execution of its industrial investments throughout North Texas. Kevin Hickman (TCC Dallas-Fort Worth) has been promoted to Principal. Kevin joined TCC as a Senior Vice President in 2022 with more than 15 years of industry experience. He plays a critical role in leading and growing High Street Residential’s (HSR), TCC’s residential subsidiary, development business throughout North Texas.
- MetroNational promoted Frank Ortiz, formerly the company’s Head of Asset Management, to Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining MetroNational, Ortiz held roles at Lionstone Investments and Clarion Partners. Ortiz holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
- Jackson-Shaw announces the promotion of two Texas team members; Grant Pearson, formerly Vice President of Industrial Development, has been promoted to Chief Development Officer, overseeing Jackson-Shaw’s nationwide industrial development initiatives. Reid Watler, formerly a Development Manager, has been promoted to Vice President of Development. Based in Houston, Watler leads site selection, land acquisition, financing, entitlements, design, construction, leasing, and sales for industrial projects across Central and South Texas.
- SparrowHawk, a real estate investment and management firm with a focus on industrial real estate, is announcing the appointment of Jorge Cabrera as Vice President of Asset Management & Transactions. Cabrera will be based in the Houston office and be involved in property acquisitions and asset management in general. Cabrera will focus on the St. Louis and Kansas City markets where SparrowHawk currently has a strong presence and is targeting acquisitions to expand its portfolio.
