  • The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) Board of Directors announced the appointment of Jerry W. Jones Jr. as Executive Director. The PCDC Board and the City Council approved the decision on November 26. Jones brings to the PCDC more than a decade of experience in economic development and community engagement, having previously served as the Executive Director for the City of Richmond, Texas, where he oversaw public-private partnerships and spearheaded initiatives to attract businesses and developers to the city. 
  • Newmark announces the addition of industrial advisory experts Jeff Cecil and Sara Troy as Executive Managing Director and Senior Managing Director, respectively. With over 30 years of combined expertise in manufacturing, supply chain/logistics management and lease negotiations, Cecil and Troy will focus on tenant and landlord representation for industrial users across North America and join the Industrial Advisory Group.
  • Sue Oldham has joined Transwestern as Director of Talent Transitions. Collaborating with the Chief Human Resources Officer and business leaders, Oldham will align recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding efforts with Transwestern’s culture and values to grow the firm’s high-performing talent and enhance every touchpoint of the employee lifecycle.
  • Berkadia announced today the sale of two medical buildings: Memorial Hermann Sports Park, located in Katy, Texas, a western suburb of Houston and Texas Health Resources Sports Park, located in Allen, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Montecito Medical Real Estate was the seller, and LaSalle Investment Management was the buyer. Sabrina Solomiany, Chris Lashmet, Eric Lee, and Vasili Davos of Berkadia Medical & Life Sciences led the transaction on behalf of the seller. 
  • PAGEWOOD acquired 32 acres of land and plans to build Mosielee Commerce Park—a ground-up, class A industrial speculative development on property located in northwest Houston near Highway 249. Situated inside of Beltway 8, Mosielee Commerce Park will comprise two buildings totaling 429,698 square feet. The first of two buildings will total 274,766 square feet with access from Old Foltin Road. The second building, adjacent to Highway 249, totals 154,932 square feet. The project is designed by architect, Power’s Brown Architecture.
