  • The Dallas-Fort Worth data center markets reported record absorption of 386 Megawatts in 2023, a nearly 7X increase over 2020, driven by exponential growth in cloud computing and AI/Machine Learning, Cushman & Wakefield’s 2023 Dallas-Fort Worth Data Center Report indicates.
  • BWE secured financing for the Estates at Ferguson (Dallas, TX), a $16,823,000 Freddie Mac Forward tax-exempt loan originated on behalf of a Dallas-based developer and operator to provide permanent financing for a planned 164-unit, age-restricted garden-style affordable housing development.
  • McLeod Cobb’s 45-acre mixed-use project in Corpus Christi will be the only location that Target Corp. will open this year in Texas. The 128,500-sf store’s grand opening is slated for late summer.
  • McCarthy Holdings, Inc. (McCarthy) announced the promotion of Billy Naylor to Senior Vice President, National Safety. In this role, he will oversee the implementation of McCarthy’s national safety program, including all company policies and procedures regarding safety. He will replace retiring Senior Vice President, National Safety, Kevin Maitland.
  • Knightvest Capital acquired the Dorian Apartments, formerly known as the Tribeca Apartments. Situated in the Legacy area of DFW, this 398-unit apartment community marks the latest addition to the Knightvest portfolio. The company will renovate unit interiors and property amenities, including the fitness center, pool area, and clubhouse.
