- Stream Realty Partners appointed industry veteran Ariella Middlebrook as Chief Financial Officer. Operating from Stream’s corporate headquarters in Dallas, Middlebrook’s appointment will drive Stream’s overall growth strategy. Middlebrook served as Chief Accounting Officer and Global Controller for Kincentric (a SpencerStuart Company) and held roles such as U.S. Chief Financial Officer for Avison & Young and Senior Financial Operations Leadership positions at General Growth Properties, JLL, and KPMG.
- Turnkey Ventures Inc., an Austin-based real estate company, is undertaking a nearly $12 million project to turn a long-closed building in Roswell, New Mexico, into a manufacturing center for modular homes. Turnkey will partner with Greenwood, South Carolina-based modular homebuilder Biltwise Structures on the facility.
- Freehill Development Co. has recently added over 650,000 sf of industrial space to the Hill Country region, completing two projects. The two parks are in San Antonio and Georgetown. Transwestern Real Estate Services is handling leasing, Owrey Construction is general contractor, and Runa Workshop handled design.
- Grandview Partners and Brennan Investment Group will develop a 393,796-sf industrial project along FM 1472 and Mines Rd in Laredo. The site spans 24 acres within the 1,390-acre Pinnacle Industry Center development. Building features will include 32-ft clear heights, 195-ft truck court depths, and parking for 152 cars and 199 trailers. Construction is expected to begin in the coming weeks and last about 12 months.
- BBG appointed financial services industry leader Barrett Scruggs as chief revenue officer, a new position at the firm. In his latest role, Scruggs will lead and manage BBG’s revenue generation efforts, and enhance overall operational efficiency between service lines. This includes formulating and executing comprehensive sales and business development strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and fostering strategic partnerships to drive sustainable growth.
