- Holt Lunsford Commercial (HLC) has appointed Mario Zandstra as the company’s new president. With a career spanning over three decades, Zandstra’s responsibilities will primarily be supervising HLC’s business development, managing a team-based governance model and supporting the advancement of the company’s current and future generation of leaders.
- Industry veteran Chelby Sanders has joined Cresa as a Managing Principal. She will be based in the firm’s Dallas office. Chelby has negotiated some of the largest, highest-profile deals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area over the years, Sanders was most recently an Executive Vice President with CBRE’s Transaction Advisory Services group. She focuses on corporate work, helping her clients navigate the complex, post-pandemic world of office occupancy.
- Bates Arnot will lead Stream Realty Partners’ central region Industrial Development Services division in his elevated role as Managing Director. In his new role, Arnot will continue sourcing development opportunities throughout Texas and Colorado and other regional markets. Arnot will manage the Industrial Development Services platform’s largest team, continue to source new development talent, and contribute to Stream’s national IDS platform’s leadership and overall growth strategy.
- Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) announced the sale and financing of Mustang Station, a 444-unit multifamily asset in Farmers Branch, Texas. The project enjoys a 95% occupancy rate and 10% annual rent growth. Built in two phases in 2015 and 2019 on 5.7 acres, the property provides residents with two 24-hour fitness centers, two swimming pools, a business center and reserved parking. The average unit size is 853 square feet.
