- A $35 million environmentally friendly data center is planned at an existing 162,543-sf warehouse at 505 N. Wildwood Dr. in Irving. The energy- and water-efficient data center is part of Connecticut-based Edged Energy’s plan to develop more than a dozen data centers nationwide that will be carbon-neutral and zero-water.
- Newmark announces it has been awarded the exclusive leasing assignment of 2501 Cedar Springs, a fully renovated, 110,000-square-foot office property in Dallas. Completed in July 2023, the $8 million capital improvement has entirely repositioned the property as a Class A boutique office building within the Uptown Dallas submarket.
- Cushman & Wakefield announced that the commercial real estate services firm has hired Robert LaCoure, Jill Nesloney and Bryce Adams. They will be based in the firm’s downtown Houston office in Texas Tower as part of the office agency leasing team. LaCoure joins as Senior Director, Nesloney joins as Director and Adams joins as an Associate.
- The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is expanding on the west end beyond gates 33 and 34, adding 84,500 gross sq. ft. over three levels—32,000 sq. ft. on the concourse level, with new passenger amenities, a new third-level mezzanine, and apron-level airline support space. As part of the project, 12 gate-boarding bridges will be replaced and three new gates will be created to offset gate closures during future expansion projects.
