“Penthouse Collection” Revealed at AKA Times Square
AKA has opened its exclusive “Penthouse Collection” at its landmark AKA Times Square. The hotel rooms include 12 penthouse suites redesigned to cater to today’s travelers “who desire unique and elevated accommodations,” according to a statement by the hospitality brand, which is known for providing extended-stay accommodations to celebrities.
“Penthouse living is no longer about aspirational luxury,” said Larry Korman, president of AKA. “It’s about having the authentic experience of being at home in a cool space that is representative of its location.”
Designer Nicholas Cardone drew inspiration for the collection from the landmark building’s rich 1900 history, and its meticulous restoration by award-winning historic preservationist and architect Stephan Potts of Stanev Potts Architects.
