Pennsylvania Governor Launches Permit Fast Track Program

Peak Construction Corporation and NorthPoint Development recently hosted Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro at their Hazleton Logistics Building 1 to hold a press conference to sign the executive order establishing the Pennsylvania (PA) Permit Fast Track Program.

Shapiro spoke in detail about the new program that cuts through red tape, expedites permits, and streamlines projects and construction in Pennsylvania. He signed Executive Order 2024-04, creating the PA Permit Fast Track Program to streamline the permitting process for key economic development and infrastructure projects, increase transparency, and accelerate timelines. The Fast Track Program is designed to help project sponsors better understand and meet permitting requirements and reduce costly delays.

CBRE is the leasing broker for the 1,058,482 square foot Northpoint/Peak Hazleton Logistics Building 1 project. Hazleton Logistics 141 is a master-planned industrial park that will total over 5.3 million square feet of Class-A industrial space at full buildout.
