Penguin Random House Stays Put, Signs 603K-SF Lease Extension

Penguin Random House inked a long-term deal with landlord SL Green Realty Corp. to stay at its current location at 1745 Broadway in Manhattan. The 15-year lease extension for 603,650 square feet keeps the international publisher in place through June 2033.

The early renewal gives Penguin Random House floors 2-19 and 21-23. The original lease was to expire in 2018. Richard Bernstein of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in this transaction while SL Green represented the landlord in-house.
