International real estate developer and advisor Pembroke has signed a long-term lease agreement with Brown Advisory, LLC, to occupy the top two floors of its 13-story office building at 1801 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Leasing services for Pembroke were provided by Cushman & Wakefield while JLL represented Brown Advisory, LLC, in the transaction.

Brown Advisory will relocate from its current office in Chevy Chase, MD.

According to Pembroke, Brown Advisory’s strategic decision to move its office to Washington, D.C. further demonstrates upward momentum for the downtown commercial market. 1801 Pennsylvania Avenue is located a block from the Farragut West metro station, directly across from Edward R. Murrow Park, The World Bank and IMF, and is surrounded by coffee, lunch and happy hour options.
