Peloton Joining Manhattan West Tenant Roster with Flagship Studio
Indoor-cycling leader Peloton will build a 35,000-square-foot flagship location at Brookfield’s Manhattan West development. Expected to open in fall 2019, the facility will house Peloton’s broadcast and production operations, as well as several studios.
“Peloton is driving some of the latest trends, not only of our industry but also of our culture: the future of fitness, state-of-the-art technology, experiential retail and high-end design,” said Michael Goldban, head of retail leasing at Brookfield Properties. “At Manhattan West, we have set out to create a destination unlike any that exists, and the flagship studio Peloton plans to create will serve as a health and wellness anchor for the complex and neighborhood, and a new model for the industry.”
Locally-based Peloton was represented by NKF’s Benjamin Birnbaum and Ben Shapiro. Brookfield was represented by JLL’s Patrick Smith and Matt Ogle, and in-house by Goldban and Mark Kostic.
