PEG Proposes $150M Redevelopment in Old Town Scottsdale

Provo, UT-based PEG Companies proposes to develop The Triangle, a $150-million mixed-use project in Scottsdale that would preserve the historic Ralph Haver Triangle Building as a key centerpiece. The developer will add about 230 units of multifamily housing along with a 168-room boutique hotel and restaurant.

The 3.87-acre property at 7110 E. Indian School Rd. in Old Town will need to be rezoned to accommodate multiple uses and an increased building height. The residential portion will include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units with underground parking. Amenities include a clubhouse with a demonstration kitchen, fitness/yoga studio, community garden, oasis courtyard, patios and balconies, pool, pet washing station, and landscaped terraces.

The design style features masonry, cast-in-place concrete and stucco with a stepped building structure, cantilevered balconies, and folded-plate roof canopies. The Haver Triangle Building was designed in 1962 by influential Arizona architect Ralph Haver, AIA.
