PEBB Enterprises to Develop Grocery-Anchored Retail Center in Jacksonville
Boca Raton-based private equity real estate investment company PEBB Enterprises has acquired a nine-acre development site in Jacksonville’s St. Johns County and plans to build a new retail center anchored by a 48,400-square-foot Publix grocery store.
Plans for the project, which is located at 855 County Road 210 West, include the Publix location as well as 10,500 square feet of additional retail space. The site is directly across the street from the master-planned, 3,000-acre Beachwalk mixed-use community, which will include a 100-room hotel, retail, offices, industrial facilities and an elementary school.
Construction is slated to be completed by summer 2021. In addition to Publix, additional signed tenants include Publix Liquor Store and Lavender Spa. PEBB acquired the site from Twin Creeks Development, the developer of Beachwalk, for $2.7 million.
