Connect is coming to Austin! Learn more here.
The Pearland City Council recently approved road development projects for the Ivy District, a $300 million, 50-acre, mixed-use development at Beltway 8 and SH 288, south of Houston. The city council approved an agreement with Ivy District developer American Modern Green, to extend South Spectrum Boulevard from SH 288 to Kirby Drive, and to extend Promenade Shops Drive.
American Modern Green will finance the $3 million South Spectrum extension to SH 288, and Promenade Shops Drive. The Lower Kirby Pearland Management District and Pearland Municipal Management District No. 1 will pay for the $5.7 million extension of South Spectrum Boulevard to Kirby. The extensions also include landscaping, lighting and drainage improvements.
Upon buildout, the Ivy District will offer townhomes, retail and restaurant space, hotels, office buildings, and green space.
