NorthPoint Development's Third Coast Business Park, a speculative industrial real estate development in Joliet, Illinois

Peak Construction Launches Spec Builds for NorthPoint in Joliet

Peak Construction Corporation was awarded two buildings and site improvements for NorthPoint Development’s Third Coast Logistics Park in Joliet, IL earlier this year. Peak is currently underway with Phase 1, which includes simultaneous site improvements and construction of Building 1, a speculative 1, 056,353-square-foot, 40’ clear height building featuring 103 dock doors, four drive-in doors and 264 trailer parking stalls.  

Building 2, also speculative, will follow and will feature 1,218,120 square feet, 40’ clear height, 120 dock doors, four drive-in doors and 247 trailer parking stalls. The entire project has an expected completion date of Fall 2023.  

Peak is teamed with architect studioNorth Architecture and civil engineer Jacob & Hefner Associates on the project.

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 13-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism.
