Peak Construction Breaks Ground at Grayslake Industrial Facility

OCM, a subsidiary of OKABE Co., and Peak Construction Corporation celebrated OCM’s building expansion with a groundbreaking ceremony yesterday in Grayslake, Illinois.

OCM executives, who flew in from Japan, attended the celebration commemorating OCM’s growth and the start of the new project. The 203,257-square-foot design-build addition will expand OCM’s operations into a 337,208-square-foot facility. The addition features a 30’ clear height and adds an additional ten dock doors, three drive-in doors, and 115 car spaces. Project completion is expected by the end of the year. Peak is teamed with Cornerstone Architects and Manhard Consulting.

Okabe Co., Inc. was established in July 1977 as a subsidiary of Okabe Co., Ltd. in the United States. The parent company, Okabe Co., Ltd, is a 100-year-old company founded in downtown Tokyo. The company is a global fastener supplier and metal processing manufacturer.
