Paul Taylor Dance Company Expands Midtown Lease

The Paul Taylor Dance Company and George Comfort & Sons have finalized an agreement to relocate the dance organization’s headquarters to the 307 West 38th Street Tower in Midtown. Occupying 31,000 square feet across the 9th and 10th floors, Paul Taylor will expand its space from 13,000 square feet, accommodating its offices, studio, and an extended educational wing, the Taylor School, starting in early 2025.

Paul Taylor Dance Company was represented by Jeffrey Rosenblatt of Lincoln Property Company. George Comfort & Sons was represented in-house by Peter S. Duncan, Matthew Coudert and Alexander Bermingham.

“With this planned expansion, we are redoubling our commitment to dance education while also providing our company of outstanding dancers the state-of-the-art studios that will support their work with new choreographers as well as their performance of Paul Taylor’s unparalleled repertory,” said John Tomlinson, executive director of the Paul Taylor Dance Foundation.
