Patrick Mahomes-Backed KMO Burger Opens Kansas Whataburger

The first Whataburger is now open in Olathe. The new Whataburger location at 14123 W 135th Street is expected to bring more than 75 jobs to the local area. Whataburger sells hamburgers, milkshakes, french fries and breakfast sandwiches. The restaurant features a dual-lane drive-thru open 24 hours a day, reported The Kansas City Star.

The location is operated by franchisee KMO Burger, LLC, which plans to open dozens of Whataburger locations throughout Kansas and Missouri over the next six years. Other nearby locations in Johnson County locations are at 11300 Nall Ave. and 7791 W. 159th St. in Overland Park.

KMO Burger is an expansion venture undertaken by Texas-based fast-food chain Whataburger. The investor-led franchise group includes NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes and is focused on delivering new Whataburger locations through the Midwest.
