Pastakia Breaks Ground on Fremont Crossing Adaptive Reuse

Seattle-based Pastakia + Associates broke ground on Fremont Crossing, a mixed-use development in Seattle’s Queen Ann at the south end of the Fremont Bridge. The adaptive reuse project at 316 Florentia St. will feature more than 58,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor commercial office space.

Plans include adding 51,000 square feet in a new four-story structure, that will be merged with 7,800 square feet in the three-story historic Bleitz Funeral Home building. A 5,000-square-foot space added in 1989 will be demolished.

SKB Architects’ design wraps around the original 1921-era Tudor and Spanish Revival-influenced concrete building, which the developer plans to restore. New construction inspired by the maritime heritage of the ship canal will blend with the historic structure, to create a curved courtyard space between the two buildings.

He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private.
