Passco Establishes Footprint in Active Seniors Housing Sector

Irvine, CA-based Passco Companies is collaborating with Newport Beach, CA-based Avenida Partners on the development and management of a pair of apartment communities for adults age 55-plus. The companies plan to deliver two state-of-the-art active-adult seniors development projects, one in Palm Desert, CA and another in Germantown, TN.

Passco Companies Development’s Carey P. Levy notes the developments will help the company establish its footprint in the active seniors housing sector.

Each community will have 161 apartments,  and feature resort-inspired amenities, as well as a mix of programs and services. The communities will be located at 40445 Portola Ave. in Palm Desert (pictured) and 7900 Wolf River Blvd. in Germantown. Construction for both projects is expected to be complete in summer of 2020.

Avenida Palm Desert will feature mid-century modern architecture and more than 1.5 acres of resort-style grounds, including a 70-foot pool, yoga areas, an olive garden for alfresco dining and a separate courtyard with a desert sculpture garden.
