Pasadena Lands a Sweet New Tenant … Literally

The steady decline of local print journalism is well documented since the late 1990s. That said, their iconic newsroom digs can – and do – live on. Recent proof point: the historic Pasadena Star-News building’s entire fourth floor has been leased to an LA-based, gourmet cookie that delivers nationally.

Last Crumb is leasing a sweet, 7,500-square-foot culinary space, which recently housed Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. The building’s location – in Pasadena’s financial district – provides street visibility that is further enhanced by the area’s high daytime traffic and proximity to The Paseo outdoor mall, as well as other entertainment and dining spots.

This deal, as well as other recent transactions, coincides with the 10th anniversary of Greenbridge Investment Partners, a CRE investment firm that is also LA-based.

The 1925 property also features a penthouse above the 4th floor and two below-grade levels. The building is adjacent to a parking structure at 473 East Union St.
