Party City Taps ExcessSpace for Site Selection, Lease Renewal 

Newmark has announced that Excess Space Retail Services, Inc., a Newmark Company, will oversee Party City Holdco Inc.’s site selection and lease renewal programs. PCHI, a celebrations and party goods supplier, aims to optimize its nationwide portfolio of over 750 locations across 45 states. ExcessSpace will leverage its expertise to strategically select retail locations and negotiate favorable lease terms for Party City. 

“We look forward to leveraging our history and experience in effective and diligent tenant representation to ensure that Party City is well-situated with strategically selected retail locations and favorable lease terms,” said Michael Wiener, president of ExcessSpace. “We look forward to leading these programs and continuing to deliver for this iconic brand.”  

PCHI has enlisted ExcessSpace to enhance its portfolio of 750+ locations spanning 45 states nationwide. Recent restructuring efforts bolstered its financial position, securing a $562 million asset-based lending facility and a $75 million investment to support ongoing operations and distributions.
