Portion of Mesa's Greenfield Gateway shopping center sells for $18.9.

Parts of Mesa Shopping Center Sold for $18.9 Million

A portion of Greenfield Gateway, a prominent 349,143-square-foot retail shopping center located at the corner of Greenfield Rd and US Highway 60 in Mesa was sold by an entity formed by Hinkson Development. Situated on just over 10 acres, the sale consisted of 67,709 square feet of 100% leased buildings including an EoS Fitness-anchored building and two multi-tenant strip-retail buildings.

The asset was sold to Greenfield Gateway, LLC, a Southern California-based investor, for $18.9 million. Greenfield Gateway is also co-anchored by Walmart and Sportsman’s Warehouse, both which were not a part of the sale.

Cushman & Wakefields Michael Hackett led a team who represented the seller, “This was an attractive investment opportunity of a fully leased shopping center asset with strong tenancy and a tremendous assumable loan in place. The asset further benefits from its synergistic position alongside some of the world’s largest retailers at the center.”
