Partnership Completes $178M Deal for DFW Apartments

Toronto-based Dream Unlimited and Denver-based Pauls Corp. recently closed on a 1,200-unit, five-property apartment portfolio in the suburbs of Dallas for $178 million. The Dallas Morning News reported the seller as Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust.
Dream and Pauls each have a 50% interest in the portfolio. Collectively 95% leased, the properties include the following:

• Tallows Apartments at 1602 Frankford Rd. E. in Carrollton;
• Fieldcrest Apartments at 4747 N. Josey Ln. in Carrollton;
• Tall Timbers Apartments at 501 Sycamore Ln. in Euless;
• Villas at Waterchase at 165 N. Old Orchard Ln. in Lewisville; and 
• Abbey at Vista Ridge Apartments at 350 E. Vista Ridge Mall Dr. in Lewisville.
