Partnership Completes 131K-SF Self-Storage Facility in Fort Lauderdale

Hernandez Development, along with project partners Stiles, Merrimac Ventures and JL Capital & Management, have completed a 130,852-square-foot self-storage facility with ground-floor retail in Fort Lauderdale.

The property, which will be called Riverbend Self Storage, is a four-story building located on a nearly two-acre site at 2427 W Broward Blvd. The project features 970 climate-controlled, self-storage units and 5,168 square feet of ground-floor retail. Extra Space Storage Inc. will operate the facility.

Stiles Vice President Brad Dineen has been tapped to lead leasing efforts for the retail portion of the property. The South Florida-based Hernandez Group is a commercial real estate development firm offering a full range of real estate services.
