The Allen Morris Company, Xenel International U.S.A. and Principal Real Estate Investors have closed on a $57.2-million construction loan for The Maxwell at Xentury City, a 311-unit multifamily development located in Kissimmee, FL. The loan is being provided by Regions Bank.

The Maxwell at Xentury City is the first residential phase of Xentury City, a 200-acre mixed-use live-work-play development.

The 293,000-square-foot residential community will contain five garden-style buildings with a total of 311 units. The project site is adjacent to the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.

The Maxwell at Xentury City is close to all the theme parks including Disney World and Universal Studios and has developed a major transportation network to access the site. The site is also 30 minutes from Downtown Orlando and 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport.

The project’s general contractor is Deangelis Diamond. Dwell Design Studio and Shim Studios will spearhead the project.

About Lisa McDuffie

Lisa McDuffie arrives at ConnectCRE via REALTOR® world, where she served for nearly two decades as communications director for one of the nation’s largest REALTOR® organizations. She supported two membership-elected presidents who were commercial real estate practitioners, and managed the communications initiatives of the organization’s commercial special interest group. When not following the latest commercial real estate news, Lisa is zeroed in on her charismatic off-the-track thoroughbred as she makes the transition from an utterly failed racehorse to a lovely show hunter.
